Are you stitching over one or two? If you are stitching over one, your design will be smaller. If you are stitching over two, your design will be larger. How many stitches in your design? Your pattern should tell you, I looked it up. If stitching over 2 your design will basically be 6 x 6. I love your design and I think that you are working over 2. Those questions that I asked you will help in the future because you just divide the stitch count in the pattern which is 88 and divide it by 14. That gives you your size. If you are going to stitch over just one (which means you have incredible eyesight) you would divide 28 into 88, and that gives you your size. Good luck. Maybe you can post it when through. Welcome to our chat room. I am just a stitcher in this chat room. We talk about everything here and share good times and bad. Hope you come back. Peace always. Pam

Hi! On the product info page it says that the project is 5.5" done over two. That is a small, but beautiful stitchery. Karen

I am sorry but it says 5 x 5 if working over two on 32 count. You are not. You are working on 28 count. That kind of threw me too but I did a double take and noticed that you said you were working over 28 count. Have a good time!

Hi again. Oops, my bad. The product info is for 32 count and you asked about 28 count. Pam's answer is correct. Sorry bout that. Karen

Hi,
The stitch count is 88 x 88.
On 28-count fabric, stitching ‘over 2’, the finished design will be 6 1/4 inches wide x 6 1/4 inches high.
If you add an extra 3 inches extra fabric on EACH side of fabric for mounting and framing, you will need a piece of fabric 12-inches Wide x 12 inches tall.

An option is to stitch ‘over 1” on 28-count fabric. If you do, then the finished design would be 3 1/4 inches wide x 3 1/4 inches high and you would need a piece of fabric that is 9-inches Wide x 9-inches high ( includes 3” extra fabric each side for mounting and framing).

No worries luvtoxstitch,
If mistakes were quarters, I’d be a rich woman.:)
If you read my answer, you’ll notice I accidentally duplicated Pam’s information.... clink.... I just dropped in another quarter in my piggy bank....:)
