Picture size
What is the opening size for the picture? I'd like to make this sampler for a 50th wedding anniversary. Pictures were smaller back then. Thanks for any help.

I looked for this pattern and couldn't find it. I may not understand quite right. I have had pictures enlarged and I know you can minimize pictures. So you would be making the picture to match the opening. I don't know. I think I just confused myself.

Pam -- I understood your answer perfectly. I would have said the same thing. Are we both confused? I'm coming up on 48 years of marriage. Most of the pictures that I have from my wedding are the same size as today's photos -- mostly 4 x 6 ,
5 x 7 or larger. However, I do have some older ones that are probably 3 x 3 square.

Thank you ladies. The picture I have is a square one and not the best quality. Not sure how well it would turn out if copied. I was hoping to use the original picture. Might just give it a try anyway. Thank you for your help.

It almost looks like the picture is on top of the aida. If that's the case, maybe you could redesign the boarder stitching that is around the photo, so it fits property and it's "framed" nicely.
