The best investment I made was to invest in a dmc color chart that actually has the number and then the actual floss thread so you can see what that color looks like. I use it all the time because I like to change colors a lot of the time. Of course, a lot of the stitchers on this site can advise because they can immediately know which color goes with which. Anyhow, Sarandipity, welcome. I hope you will post again and show us the finished project. I am technically challenged and can't show squat. I don't know if you have been on here before and I hope that you do come again. We talk about everything and anything including stitching once in a while and we love to add more ladies and gents. Thank you too Pam, I have wanted one of the DMC colour charts, but I have only been able to find the ones with the printed colours, not the sample threads... I do post here and there, but I do check in fairly regularly to read all the posts :) My photo is fairly old, my black boy there still had his 1 white whisker. He lost that a while ago now :)
