Challah cover
I wanted to know if I buy the Challah Cover kit, could I make it into a framed wall picture instead of the Cover?

Of course! It's your project! Some people (myself included) turn some pictures into pillows! Just have fun and do whatever you want with it! :-)

Of course! As we say, there are no cross stitch police! It would make an outstanding wall picture. I can't tell you the times that the project will be not displayed as it is presented. I have made mini quilts, wall hangings, etc. No problem. And the good thing-no one but you will know that it was presented as a cover. Peace. Pam

I took an angel pattern shown on a Christmas stocking and made a wall hanging out of it. Like the other stitchers said, there isn’t any cross stitching police out there. :)

Of course you can! You can do whatever your heart desires with your creations.

Lisa, I clicked on "View Item" to see the size. It is a little over 13" x 13". I think it would be beautiful framed on a wall. I do love the colors in the design. Best of luck!!

Lisa do whatever your heart desires. I have also learned from these wonderful ladies and gentlemen there isnt a cross stitch police. They have helped me come out of my OCD cross stitching box to where i no longer care about my little mistakes and frogging has now taken a back seat and i get way more stitching done rather then spend my time correcting every little mistake. I had a friend, god bless her soul, who would cross stitch little projects "ornament size" like bears and would then incorporate them into a quilt. She loved to cross stitch and quilt. She unfortunately passed away due to breast cancer several years ago but she did the most beautiful work. She was the only other person I had met in our small town that cross stitched. I really wish I had been on the receiving end of one of her projects.

Very pretty Lisa. Please post a pic of it when complete. We enjoy seeing others “labors of love.”

FYI - this is a pattern, not a kit. You must buy all the supplies separately.

This would make a beautiful wall hanging. Is this for yourself or as a gift.?

Now - this is my opinion. I have at least twelve pieces of Judaica on my walls. If I were to stitch this piece I would square up the last letter a little. To me it looks more like a samekh than a mem. If you are not familiar with the Hebrew alphabet ask someone . I showed this to several friends a few years ago. They all agreed.

This is my opinion and it wouldn't detract from the beauty and most people probably wouldn't notice.

U can use it the inside where isthe hebrew (( Shabat Shalom)) into a small cushion or frame it by itself. I had given one of this as a cushion for my cousin Bar-Mitvah. He was in his 80th and he was delighted when he had receive it. Have fun.
