ladyj, Could you tell me just his first name? I can pray just as well without it because God knows who I am praying for but it just seems that I can reach out better. Like I said I can pray without it-unceasing. God be with you and your family. He is going to be so much happier. My brother in law was in a car wreck and his jaw was wired. The doc told him he was the first one he knew to gain weight=he did love that blender. God bless him. Pam

Prayers for his speedy recovery. He must be relieved to be done with the surgeries! Through the advances of surgery so much more can be done than even 10 years ago. Please let us know of his progress. :)

Hey, momcat. Unfortunately we live two blocks from Braum's=an ice cream store. My husband and son have a fit because I sneak out, go thru the drivethru , and walk in with a strawberry shake-not small, not large, just medium please. My son has a fit because he is the one that took me to have an angiogram and the doc told me how much I was blocked, and told me to change my diet, get out of teaching, and exercise. I have done one of those things-teaching. I am praying ladyj. That was a long surgery. Pam

One of those other side effects of getting older is getting
“Blocked up” or “backed up” with something in some part of the body; to the point where the docs have to cut it out, ream it out, push it against blood vessel walls, drain it out, syringe it out, or graft it in. I’m surprised they haven’t created a ‘lift’ ( like they have in a garage) in the operating rooms, so they raise us up and tinker with the body, ie. do an oil change, blow out the exhaust....
