That is too cool for words and so relevant for the season. It is really neat and well done. I like the mat that goes perfectly with the frame. You and zz putting me to shame! Gonna have to go through my wips and see if I can finish them. I actually have one done, daffy duck, that all I have to do is frame it. My DH likes cartoon characters so I have done, a couple of Garfieds, Popeye, Mickey Mouse, and a couple of Snoopys so Daffy will fit right in. He now wants a Tazmanian Devil that he has picked out. Anyhow, good job!!!!!!!!!!

I have that one in my stash also. Been too busy trying to get "gifts" done for people that I haven't been able to work on things for myself. Our 3 season back porch is a beach theme and I have a bunch more to do for back there - I figure by the time I get them all done, the ones out there now will be faded away into nothing. But that is ok, since it allows room for changes.

You've done a great job on this and am anxious to do mine now! I keep seeing the ones people get done and I want to jump to a new project - keep telling myself - self control, self control!

When I was in school over seas one of my friend had told me that a guy came to see her father (( I dont know )) how he is related to her. He had seen one of the huge needlepoint hanging on the wall. He had asked her who made this? She said I did. the same day he had asked her father for her hand. What do U think of that ladies?

This is beautiful stitching! I have many projects finished, but they are all on my framng table (our dining table, glass topped with 4 chairs, but too small for guests unless there are just two small people. I so want to sell it and use a bigger rectangular table...will fit just fine and work well for eating and framing. Mine will have eroded into raggedy pieces by the time an expedition unearths them!

Thanks for all the great comments. It was fun to stitch. My parent just sold their house two weeks ago and will be moving to Florida. Guess I have another one to do but I might pick a different pattern just to keep things interesting!

I thought it was just called Welcome Flip Flops but I am not sure. I tried finding it on here but didn't see it. I found it on Amazon and it is called Welcome Mat by Dimensions. I can't find it here on ECS anymore but Amazon has it. I honestly cannot remember if I bought it here or through Amazon. They are about the only two places I buy my patterns or kits. There is another Welcome with three pairs of flip-flops on the top of the sign. Also one that says Plop your Flops. Those are both available at ECS. Hope that helps.
