Hi there Just check the count of the stitches for both the pattern and the afghan and U can find out if it will fit in a blanket. It seem that the pattern is asking for just aida cloth 18 c but U can do it in 16 or 14 which they fit properly with different size of the picture that U have in mind. Have fun
