Riolis kit
I love this picture and am nearing the end, however I have run out of and getting pretty low on several threads. This is a wood/ acrylic thread that I can't seem to find. I have contacted the company but no response. Is there anyway I can get replacement threads to finish my project? Appreciate any help or advise you can give. Don't think I will be working on another Riolis project ever! Very disappointed!!

lkd I bought a Riolis kit too without looking at what kind of floss came with it, I too will never make that mistake again since I had such a hard time working with the thread and ended up frogging what I had stitched because the floss was getting annoying. After reading your post about not getting enough thread to begin with I am now glad I stopped when I did. I still like the pattern so I think I am going to change out the acrylic to DMC when I get enough time to start it again. Thanks for the information. :)

Nettie, the same thing happened to me. Hated the thread and just pitched the whole thing in the trash. However, I found a Riolis kit yesterday clearance out and got it. I may just try to match the colors using my DMC color chart and use the DMC instead. I didn't invest much in it so if it goes in the trash, so be it!

Contact ECS...perhaps they have a better contact email address. I have admired this pattern for a while...i, too, am disappointed they are so stingy with floss! 😠 Maybe someone replaced the floss and send you the floss they replaced? Off chance, but stranger things have happened...as this whole bunch can attest to.

I’ve been wanting the Pansy & the Lily of the Valley for some time, but think I will pass. I bought a Riolis counted cross kit a while ago - Giraffe Mama & Baby - and thought the thread was unusually fuzzy. Worse of all the fabric was not 14 count Aida as stated on the package but something that looked and felt like stiff canvas for rug making yet not like any kind of canvas I have ever before seen. I wrote to the company and never received a response.😥 No more Riolis Kits for me!! BTW the kit was not bought from Everything Cross Stitch. I have been very happy with all my purchases from this company and their quick shipping, even during the difficult shut down due to Covid restrictions.

I have a couple of their kits, haven't stitched with that thread, just switched the thread to DMC on one of them called Underwater Kingdom. They have such pretty designs just wish they would use floss. Kathy

I've ordered a Riolis kit with the hope that I don't run out of thread. I do have an advantage, however, that one of my co-workers speaks Russian and may be able to help me get more threads. Fingers crossed.
