Cross stitch backing
Hi,
I did Honey Pot cross stitch kit. What can I use for the backing?
Thank you,

Hi Mojdeh! I have had good luck with felt. You can get a rainbow of colors to match, I've had luck at Hobby Lobby so far. I trace the outline then cut a rough shape then glue, when dried I do the finish trimming then glue the magnet on the back. I also have made cording for Christmas Ornaments and glued that between the project and the felt, or a beaded chain with the leftover beads. I hope this helps!

Good Luck! Happy Stitching!

If you are add much weight in the way of backings, you will have to find a stronger magnet! 😊

I finished some little Mill Hill Calavera ornaments with beautiful card stock I found in the scrap booking aisle at Michael's. Easy and pretty.. just remember to weight the ornaments until the glue dries to prevent curling.
