Bermuda, I've got both "Santa's Workshop" and "Sweetheart Cottage II" in my cart, just not sure which one to get. I want to do max colors on them. I might wait for a sale and then get both. They have sales quite often. My older daughter likes to get me a gift coupon also. I wish ECS offered gift certificates. Have you started "A Quiet Evening" yet? I am really excited for you.

No, I’m waiting for the fabric to come in which I ordered yesterday. It’ll take two weeks for the fabric to come in. Meanwhile I’ll work on “Iwo Jima”.
If you are looking at the “Sweetheart Cottage II” pattern by Thomas Kinkade over at HAED, they do offer it in MAX Color but not Max size, unless you want to pay them extra to Create a Max SIZE. :) Just type in Thomas Kinkade in the HAED website ‘search’ box and it will show you all the TK patterns they offer, and there is a MAX color pattern of ‘Sweetheart Cottage II” there. 🙂
Oh and I know what you mean. I wait for their sales on the patterns.
FYI - if you are into ‘fantasy’ and ‘mermaids, watch of for
David Delamare’s artwork at HAED in the future. I’m hoping they’ll consider a request I made for turning some of his mermaid artwork into cross stitch patterns....

I would love to do Max Size on either one, so I may wait to see if they come up with one. I check their new releases every Friday, just to see what to put on my wish list. At one point, I had almost 500 on my wish list with HAED, so I had to weed out quite a few. I am now down to 140, but some of it is for my daughters. I like to order some for them every now and then to put in their Christmas boxes. They are building a pretty good stash also. When they get bored, which isn't too often, they come over to go thru my stash to see what new stuff I have. My younger daughter is pretty crafty, so she comes up with some really different ideas on things to decorate around the house. She gets a lot of her ideas from Pinterest. I think I might do some Christmas ornaments this year, haven't done any since the girls were little. I might even set up my grandson with an ornament, he has been wanting to do something. Tried to get him to work on a snowman on perforated paper, but his hands aren't big enough to hold the paper without bending it, so he doesn't like it.

I agree about checking, someone is bound to pay the extra cash to have HAED make “Sweetheart Cottage II” as a Max size and Max color.
You are blessed to have children that are taking up cross stitching. They are learning from you, an experienced stitcher, the ins-and-out of this art form. My hope lies in my youngest grand daughter who has made it very clear from her last visit that she loves to sew. Santa will remember this for this coming Xmas. 🙂

I had some Thomas Kinkade patterns on my wishlist on HAED.....I looked this morning and it appears that they are no longer offering the Thomas Kinkade patterns....they only list material packs. I really had my eye on Santa's Workshop.

HAED website is having a sale right now and once the sale is over, they will put the Thomas Kinkade patterns back on their website; possibly an agreement between HAED and the TK Corp. not to put the TK on sale?
I don’t know but I do know after their last sale was over, the TK patterns were back on their website.

I just got an email a while ago that HAED is moving and having a sale to celebrate: 50% off all charts and 35% off all Needle Cases, Tuckers, Threaders, Stitch Wiz and Beeswax Cases. Sale ends Sept. 27th.

Ok, so after sale is over the Thomas Kinkade patterns will be put back on the HAED website.
That is what happened with their last sale because I was looking all over HAED trying to find the charts and after the sale, the TKs were back up the next day. :)

You are right. I had 2 Kinkade patterns in my shopping cart. I got an e-mail about the sale, so I went to check out, and my cart showed "empty". So I guess I'll have to wait til the sale is over and order one of them. Rats!!!

I know. I did the same thing you did and my cart ended up empty. But I was able to buy it at regular cost when the sale was off - I bought the pdf version of the “Sweetheart Cottage II” MAX Color.
Then I bought the “A Quiet Evening” in Max Size and Max Color when it was available. I heard there will be more of TK patterns to come....
