A poor idea to a wise decision...
I had the poor idea to stitch on my WIP “Iwo Jima” Project this evening. “Sure Bermuda, do yourself in.” a little voice whispered in my mind as I began. After two sessions of ‘frogging’, the mental voice said, “Knock, knock, Numbskull. Have you ‘gotten the picture’ yet? No? NO??!!
Do I have to spell it out for you? You are trying to stitch WHITE floss on WHITE fabric in the evening with only evening lamplight and cataract lensed 👀 eyes. GET IT??!”
.........uhhhhh, I made the wise decision to only stitch the sky on “Iwo Jima’ during the day using the natural light...

Good luck, Bermuda. I hope everything works out okay. White on white is about the worst combination ever...well, on second thought, black on black is no picnic, either, especially with cataract eyes! 😊

That is why I can only do about an hour at a time on the 101 dalmatian alphabet sampler as it is absolutely murder stitching white on white including fractionals. It's on 18 count as well just to make life even more interesting.

I believe my experimental attempt has been successful!
Easier for sure! Wouldn’t say extraordinarily better but much better. Got about 4.5 rows of 13- inch wide rows completed. Have to quit the white, sunlight is fading, but moving onto others floss colors I can stitch...

Yep, we're watching the Patriots, too. But it's getting too dark for my cataract eyes to stitch on black any more tonight. I'll have to wait until the sun comes up! 🙂
