Not so patient, here...for all the good it does! 😊

I'm almost done waiting. Mine should come tomorrow. I figured I really, really needed (?) the teddy bear paper doll.

Nice, Sunshine. Kind of wish I had someone to stitch that for! 😊

I'm going to stitch it for myself and hang it in the sewing room. It takes me forever to stitch anything 'cause I can only stitch about 50 stitches at a time. I have arthritis and I have had broken bones in my hands so they won't cooperate for very long at a time. Always a kid at heart and I love teddy bears.

Looking for a package this week as well. Oh well, they say patience is a virtue. Guessing β€œthey” were never waiting on a package from ECS. 😟

I give you lots of credit Sunshine for your persistence especially if your hands decide to β€˜rebel’ at any given moment.

Thanks Bermuda. They really only got this bad after I retired. I worked with them all my life and got along OK most of the time. I sat in front of a keyboard and keyed numbers for 8 hours a day for the last 21 years before I retired. That is why I have so little feeling in my fingertips and can't hold a needle for very long. I get along fine if I take things slowly. I'm in my mid 70's now so I'm glad things have held together this long.

I know what you mean....I’ve had enough body parts fixed, stitched and removed, I think the scientists have enough of me to consider putting them on display in a basic science class. 😳

Ladies, I can relate, also. I have arthritis in my fingers from 35 years of typing, plus two of my fingers are going numb, too, but not from typing. I've broken my arm twice, have a plate in the elbow, and one in my wrist. The numb fingers are due to damage to the ulnar nerve from the breaks, and I will have that checked out again once I get my cataract surgery complete. I also have a rod in my femur keeping that together after a fall. I have to really watch where I walk now. I really can't blame it on old age since I did most of the damage back in my 30s.

We all collect our battle scars. It shows we have lived a life and done something besides sit on a couch. I only wish someone would have told me that "older and wiser" weighed forty pounds.
