I have several pieces of aida cloth but the count isn't marked on them how do I know if it 18ct 14 ct or 16ct help please

If you measure an inch length, what is the number of squares? That should be the ct.

There are also special rulers that you can buy that have the inch measurements sub-divided so you can check without counting. For instance, one side will be 14 count and 11 count and the other side will be 16 count and 18 count. Makes life much easier.

Hi there
If U take a tape measurement and measure let say an inch then count the square if it is 14 holes then it is 14 count and do the same with the other fabric too. Have fun
