my latest completed project
For the past 3 years I have been living 6 months in New England and 6 months in NC.. I do this so my sister and I can keep my Mom in her own home instead of a nursing home. We alternate the care. Needless to say, when I am down south with my Mom, finding things to do while sitting many hours a day in the living room with her ( she spends her time coloring in adult coloring books), I decided to pick up my favorite past time that I had put aside for 15 years because...well....life! Counted cross stitch.

What a wonderful daughter you are! It’s great that your mum has found something to keep her busy. Quite a Brexit hullabaloo at the moment. Does she enjoy old films? Many years ago (in the 80s) when my mum was in a care home(stroke) I bought her a tape recorder and tapes of old plays that she had enjoyed . She seemed to enjoy them.

This is a super cute pattern! I love the frame! Your mom is a lucky lady indeed for having not 1 but 2 daughters who love her so much, who get along enough to share in her care. Bless you for your compassion.
