patterns from pictures ?
My husband is rebuilding an old car when it's finished he wants me to sew him a picture of it. I need to know if this is even possible, or if I have to contact THEA ha ha. Nice to talk to others with the same troubles. SIS

There is a program which you can purchase here, PC Stitch. I purchased it several years ago, and still use it. You just take a picture of what you want and transfer it to this program. I take a picture, scan it on my printer and transfer it to the program. The newer version might be a little different. But it works really well.

I've never tried this site, but here is a free generator program. https://www.pic2pat.com/index.en.html

I think remembering that DMC has a way to do this. Then they send you the kit with all the floss needed. But I could be wrong.

I have used the free site Pic 2 Pac, & it worked out great. Once you scan the photo to their site, you put in the size you want your finished picture to be, put in the fabric count, you can even pick out if you want to use a lot of colors or not. Then, when it is generated, you have an assortment of options so you can see what it will look like, & see which is best .
