Frohliche Weinachten!
Yes, I'm part German...and Scandinavian, and raised in the American Southwest. Anyhow, I'm trying to pick myself up by my bootstraps and get back in the swing of things. So, now for the really good news. I'm going to be a grandma! Yeah!! Our daughter is expecting a baby girl in April. I've picked out a little announcement pattern that's tooooooo pink (girl by Bobby G) and it's too simplistic. So, I'll alter it using a crazy quilt design of some sort by CM Designs, probably with colour changes. I'd best get moving! But the Army/Navy game is keeping my attention today!

I am so happy about the new addition to the family! You are going to have so much fun. But, today, it is Army-Navy all the way!!!! Keep us posted about the pattern and how your daughter is doing. Hope she has it on the 11th-my b-day. Pam

Congratulations you are going to have so much fun. Do you also sew? I have a ball sewing for the granddaughters, especially when they are little. No matter, best wishes to your family.

Congrats Momcat! How exciting for you. We are expecting a little one (sex is a surprise) in March. Will be first great grandchild for Mom and now my sister and I will be Great Aunts! We knew we were good, but now great!!! 😁 I too was involved watching the Army/Navy game. Always enjoy that and thrilled with the outcome - again!! Years ago I was fortunate to go to one of the games. It was my brother's senior year at USMA, and watching all of the cadets and midshipmen march onto the field is a site to behold. So often you forget how young these people are due to the way they conduct themselves etc. Of course, in private that could revert to normal 18 to 21 year olds!
