I think so. Says it's printed, so she will have the x's to guide her. Can't really tell, but the cat might be outlined in backstitches.

I bet she would enjoy it. Grandma could show her the basics - starting, how to end a thread, doing backstitch. This has enough variety to hold her interest, but not so complicated she would become frustrated and just set it aside.
