I agree with Surt. I choose a 6 inch for most projects. I'm sorry no one answered sooner. It probably just got buried. Good luck on your project, it is super cute.

I only use a 7 inch plastic and metal spring hoop for all my projects no matter what size they are large or small.

I got both the 8" and 6" Qsnap frames and I wish I wouldn't have spent the money on the 8" all I use is the 6." I am saw your post earlier but thought I wasn't qualified to answer. I am so sorry that you had to wait so long for an answer. ☹️
