It looks like an all over which would mean you could use any color. I would use 14 or 16 count aida. Wow, pretty pattern.

I think 16 ct Aida would be the best --- your thoughts.

Personally, I would do 28ct over 2, but that's just me. Except for my current project, The Girl with a Pearl Earring, which I'm doing on 18ct black Aida, I hardly do anything on Aida. But this cat is such a beautiful design, I think it should be done as big as possible.
