Years ago my horse trainer had a mini foxy who could tell the weather. Richard would get up about 5-00 a.m. and call to Tyson (dog) and ask if he was coming down to the stables. Tyson would walk to the garage doorway and look out and if he went and got into the car it was going to be fine but if he went back to his bed it was going to rain. He didn't often get it wrong believe me. One morning it was raining and I said to Richard Tyson had got it wrong. He just laughed and said wait for awhile and it will be fine - and he was right. Didn't have to pay the dog a large wage either just good meals twice a day and anything he could scrounge off anyone at morning tea time.

I keep telling everyone to talk to the weather forecasters and send some to SE Oklahoma. It has been totally overcast with clouds that promise moisture but just leave after awhile. I like the snow alert-really pins it down, hmmmmmmm? Pam

Love your post, Deidre. Where's the sun?

My father always wondered how the weather forecasters could forecast when they are in an enclosed room with no windows! Half the time, if they would just look outside they could get the forecast right!

Tomorrow in Winnipeg it's supposed to be -45C with the wind chill. Not looking forward to that at all. It's supposed to warm up starting Monday so they say. Keep warm everyone.

The picture is one I took on Monday in England after I took down the Christmas liites. +50 F. To nite in Thunder Bay Ont the temp will drop to -40 F without the wind chill. I must be crazy to be here😜

That was funny. The weathermen here in N Florida say the same thing just about when we have a hurricane coming. They don't know either.

They have a 50-50% chance of getting at least part right.
