Using 11ct Aida your design will be 28 x 22 inches. I always add 6 inches to each width and length for the extra for framing. You will then need a piece of 11ct. Aida 34 x 28 inches. Be sure to use 3 strands of floss when you are stitching. Hope this helps.

The 1 yard by 25 inches would be cutting it pretty iffy to me.
