just a peek
I would love to see a section of this difficult to follow chart. I can see that this is an advanced pattern and WILL be hard to do. So is it a bad chart or just a difficult project?

Beth my experience with Artecy charts is they are difficult in the sense that there are many color changes and many isolated stitches (confetti). Also, a lot of pages. Take your time and you will be fine. Not a quick stitch. The upside is they are all full stitches. Beautiful pattern.

I just started my first Artecy project that is about the same size as this one. I'm guessing this will be the same. The chart included with mine is very large print, very easy to read, understand, and in pages. Just follow the instructions (like don't stitch the shaded overlap). I do not believe that this a bad chart or a difficult project, it just will take time with the number of stitches. It should be all full cross stitches, so no half or three quarter stitches and no backstitching or french knots. Artecy also has a Facebook page that is very active and Tereena Clarke is on it all the time if you have questions.

This is a beautiful chart. I have and am working on several Artecy projects, they are very easy to follow, just take your time and enjoy your work. As everyone on this site says, one stitch at a time.

In my opinion, the quality of Artecy patterns is fantastic. The symbols are quite clear. However, there are frequent color changes. This adds beautiful shading. Go to the Artecy website and download one of their freebies. That will give you an idea what your pattern will look like. Not difficult but you do need to concentrate and realize it will take a long time to finish due to the size. Stitch one 10 x 10 area at a time. Do not look at the number of pages; but the number of stitches. More pages means larger symbols. Of course, you can always magnify your pattern to make it even easier to look at. Definitely not a beginner project.

HAPPY STITCHING

Love the pattern. I like the patterns with all full stitches. It is not a quick project but will be beautiful when done.

I was really speaking about the comment of the previous poster. I didn't word it well, but you have answered my question. There isn't anything wrong with the chart, it is just a hard one. It's obvious from the finished project image that this isn't an easy one. I haven't ordered it yet, but will once I finish the things I am working on now
