Ouch!!! Burning nerves? I know nerves do this, but never heard of having them burned...on purpose. Sounds nasty! Wish you well quickly...hope they gave you good meds! 😀

They burn the nerves where the back pain is, to shut them up. Takes 2-4 weeks to heal, I had the right side done 3 weeks ago, and have noticed improvement. The nerves grow back eventually, but it should last for 6 - 12 months. Then I get to do it again...

That sounds painful. But I'm guessing the short lived pain of the nerve burning is better than the long term back pain you are dealing with. Hang in there!

Golly! Sorry there isn't something more permanent for a remedy...and less painful. Maybe by next year they'll come up with something better or your "situation" will improve. In the meantime, I hope your pain is eased.

Hope you begin feeling better and pain free soon Jaj.
Back pain is such a nasty unrelenting experience to deal with. When ‘Mr. Nasty’ (back pain) shows up, it takes what feels like forever to get rid of him. 😬

Thank you for all your kind thoughts! It’s feeling a bit better today, at least I can take Advil’s this time, that helps. Last time I couldn’t take anything, because anything that might cause bleeding is a no no.

Jaj: I feel you. I have had one surgery on the lower lumbar (sciatica) which was terrific (the surgery, not the pain)! Now I have scacarila nerve pain (between the pelvic bone and spine on left side). I just got a steroid shot Tuesday and today it feels great! I love those shots, but like you said, it's short term. I'll eventually have surgery, but you know how the insurance companies are, they want you to go through physical therapy and/or pain management-ugh, what a waste of time and money when you know that you are going to eventually have to have the surgery. Also have nerve pinched in my right knee (where I had knee replacement), and have shots put in there too. Another surgery!

I hope you are feeling better soon and the shots lasts longer this time. Prayers going up!
