new purchase
Hi,

I finally ordered the "Nurses are Like Quilts" pattern on Friday, 4/19. My credit card is still in a pending status. How long does it usually take to process an order from Stoney Creek? This is my first time buying from this website.

Hi gramhat - you will love this pattern. I made it for my oldest granddaughter a year ago when she got her LPN. She is now working on her BSN. It was such a colorful pattern and so easy to work. Stoney Creek is very good about getting orders out in a few days if they have everything in stock. Still can't beat ECS though. I ordered a pattern from ECS yesterday and it was shipped today. Doesn't get any better than that. Keep us posted on this Nurses pattern please. cheryl

I finally received my order on the 29th. I was very disappointed because the aida fabric I ordered wasn't included. There was a note on my invoice informing me that it had been discontinued. They, of course, adjusted my payment but I think I should have gotten an email letting me know ahead of time that I would have to purchase the fabric somewhere else. I won't be able to get to a craft store for a few days so I can't begin the project now. I guess this is an issue with Stoney Creek , not ECS?

gramhat, I have never ordered from Stoney Creek but I have ordered from
ECS and 123stitch and when something is not available or back ordered I have
been notified before I receive my order.

jclifford1 and clpatt123 I confess I'm a little intimidated by this beautiful pattern. I haven't done a project like this in years. What did you choose as your starting point? Any helpful hints?

I'm making this for my granddaughter who will be graduating with her BSN soon and I don't want to mess it up!
