How can I convert this?
I am looking at a pattern, (Long Dog, sneek) and it does not give the stitch count but the finished pattern size. They have 16 count listed as pattern size, 13.94X26.69. Fabric size 20X33. How can I figure out the pattern size and fabric needed if I do this on 14 count? thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Spooky,
Ok, ....
First, I want you to go to “crosstitch.com” website.
Second, look for a heading on the web-page that says,
“Tools and Info” and tap on it.
Now, tap on the ‘stitch calculator’ choice which should bring you to the cross stitch calculator. Make it larger by spreading your fingers on it so you can see.
Are you with me so far?😊
Now, I want you to look at the TOP RIGHT corner where it will say ‘stitches’, tap on it and choose the word “Inches”
and you should see the word ‘inches’.
Next, go to the top two blank squares and enter the
13.94 and the 26.69. Do NOT worry if the numbers you typed in the blanks are not completely seen!
Next, go ahead and fill in the rest of the calculator’s blank squares ie. ‘Stitch count’ 14, the “1” for going over the squares of material, and I put “3” in the space for extra material for mounting and framing.
Tap button to lower left of calculator box that says ‘calculate’ and it will give you two answers: 1) the actual stitch count: 195 x372 (which the pattern info didn’t give you) and 2) the amount of fabric you need to stitch your pattern.
What’s really neat about this calculator is that if you go to the upper right box (where I told you to put ‘inches’),tap on it and choose the word ‘stitches’ and enter the 195 x 372 stitch count I gave you above and fill in the rest of the blanks, hit ‘calculate’, the calculator will give you
the 13.94 x 26.69 you had in the first place!

Spooky - There is a fabric calculator here on the ECS web site under "Products." Just click on any pattern, and it will take you to the page with the calculator. Unfortunately, I don't think they give adjusted sizes in Fabric sizes, but it will ask for the stitch counts, both vertical and horizontal. If the counts are given for the entire piece, including the extra needed for finishing, use those numbers. Otherwise, you'll need to add extra material for the finishing. Hope this helps!
