Where do I park the threaded needles.
Today I started my biggest project so far. I find the extra fabric cumbersome. The design is Torch of Freedom from Silver Lining. I am doing it on 14 count black Aida with three strands for better coverage. I have to change threads often and would like to keep the threaded needles. Where do I park them is there something available to do so.

I have the Needle Park Avenue from Margaret Lee.

The only thing I can think of is needle minder magnets. I don't keep my needles on when I park. I'm sure someone else on here can give you better tips. Good luck on your big piece!
And Marz beat me to it, lol

The Park Avenue is for parking on your aida. If you are looking for storage of threaded needles that are not parked...I LOVE my Pako needle organizer.

I go the โ€˜cheapโ€™ route. I stick the needle with the attached floss in the floss that is on the plastic bobbin.

Iโ€™m with a Bermuda...except in even cheaper...cardboard bobbins.

My needle minders are usually just two 3/4" magnets, one on either side of the fabric. I put a piece of masking tape with the color number and/or symbol on it, and I can move them around if I need to. But I'll tell you what, Marz, I've never seen a Needle Park Avenue before and I was instantly envious, but only for a few seconds. :-) Also, my DH is a wood turner and sometimes he gives me a nicer one made from a piece of sanded and polished scrap wood, glued to a magnet for the top of the fabric. They're gorgeous, I save them for small projects.

I've never understood the charm of "parking". I stitch the color...when it ends, I place remainder, w/needle, back in its labeled bag until next time.
I've thought long and hard about the Paco Organizer, but unruly strings are distracting b/c of the cat being attracted...and I really keep it simple and easy.

I go with Bermuda and Jaj.

I started parking because, well, I'm a terrible counter. Whenever I try to do one color at a time, I always end up off by a row or a column, and end up frogging more than I stitch. I'm probably one of the slowest stitchers in the world so the less frogging I have to do the better off I am.

One of "S's" in vcess is for SLOW! I grid because I know immediately where I am, with which color every time I pick it up...no matter how long it's been in a bag! ๐Ÿ˜Š I never have to frog, IF I grid. We all have ways that work "for us"! You park, I grid, somebody else bobbinates...we just do what we do, and keep on doing it, to the delight of retailers everywhere...and our own! ๐Ÿ˜Š
