Question
I just began the Let's visit the southwest cross stitch pattern. The chart has one color for bold lines and one for regular lines. In looking at the pattern I am not sure how to tell the difference between the two. I am a novice so if anyone can clarify I would appreciate it.

Can you post a closeup of the part of the directions that you are asking about. I have not done this pattern, but have done several by Imaginating.

Are they differentiated by different colors on the chart? That is the usual way it is done. Or by thick or thin lines.

Hello,

The bolded lines will be very the darkest black lines on the design while the "solid" backstitch lines will not be as bold. You can always refer to the picture on the cover for reference but these bolded lines are the ones done in yellow (742). So look at the "TACO" wording and the the circles that are yellow in color and those are the "bolded" backstitch lines. You will see that they are much darker and thicker than the other solid backstitch lines on the chart. Hope this information helps :)
