The kit says this is on white Aida fabric, does that mean that the background is made with crossstiching? Do you sell off white fabric? I an Indians embroiding in off white fabric.

Being an Artecy pattern it will be an all over stitching pattern including the back ground so you can pick any colour you want to stitch it on. Just another stitcher.

Not much white or glaringly light color in this...I would go with a creamy tan background...IF I could find the right color. Hand dyes can get pricey for large pieces, but for the right color and count....totally up to the stitcher! 😀

BEAUTIFUL

Maybe I am misunderstanding your question. I hope that you realize that this is a pattern only; not a kit. You buy all the suggested supplies. I like the previous poster's advise of using a tan fabric and NOT stitching the background. I have done this on several projects. I found stitching backgrounds on large projects such as this becomes quite tedious very quickly.

A word of advice -- if this will be your first attempt at cross stitch you should start with a much smaller project. If you are experienced. No problem. Artecy patterns are the best. Just don't be overwhelmed by the number of pages. It just means that the symbols on the graphs are larger and easier to read.

I also am all for using tan fabric rather than stitching the tan on white. I have done similar projects. Also, as Nancye suggested, if you are a beginning stitcher, you may want to do acouple of smaller projects first. Good luck. Pam
