3 pages done! - "Rub A Dub Dub" HAED
I'm finally getting to the forefront of the design! The background's been a lot to deal with, and kinda boring, despite the excitement of using 30-40 colours so far *eye-rolling emoji*. I feel like there's some column lines here and there, but this is 1 over 1 on 25 ct. Lugana, so I'm hoping people only notice if they have really good eyes :)

Here's the back, there was some discussion a while ago about backs, so here's mine! It looks like there's a lot of carried thread, but it's all stitched over by my parking method.

Wow Jackie! Love the coloring. Looks amazing. How many pages is this one?

Thanks crusin! 36 I think? The last 6 pages though are only about 20 rows, so I count them as ONE page... So I guess 31-ish... 10%-ish done! LOL

Awesome job Jackie! I admire anyone who is willing to take on a large project, especially one from HAED or artcey. I looked up the pattern you are doing and it is beautiful. Keep us posted on your progress!👍

Thanks Nettie, I will!

Jackie, I'm happy you showed the back. I understand the parking and haven't tried because I wondered about those threads on the back. Doesn't look too dense or anything else! I wondered about this one a couple days ago, but of course couldn't think who posted. It's lovely! You take the time to do that zigzag edge and it still shows? Liz

Hi Liz, if you can see my column lines too, (I was hoping it was just me because I know where my columns stop and start) then I guess my zig-zagging isn't having the desired effect! I may try some different techniques as I work along. Perhaps a less defined "zig-zag" would help.

Oh, I didn't mean I could see the column lines (sorry for the scare). I was questioning they could still be seen with that careful zigzag. :) Liz

I don't see any lines...I am told that if a canvass is properly stretched, any of those "lines" shouldn't be visible. And if I DO notice something I don't like, I redo it. With a Starry Night, I went over that thing with a magnifier. It was so dense, I had to snip the stitches/areas from the front...not the best of conditions, and worrisome, but I wasn't spending all that time on it to look at that one spot every time I looked at it. Stuff happens, we fix it. 😂

Meant to say, Gorgeous work! 😃 I'm impressed with that parking back, too! But I'm not going to do it...I'm simply not smart enough. 😊
