Jaj have never been able to keep our labs out. However, it was the puppy’s first experience with the ocean so there was some hesitation. The waves were mild but... Then again she barked at a watermelon for 10 minutes the first time she saw one.🙄

The first time we took Mabel to the lake she was a little hesitant too. That didn’t last long, once she figured it out, she headed to Canada! We went to the lake today, she jumped off a retaining wall into the water (she was on a leash) I told my husband to keep her away from the edge, but he didn’t listen.
Mabel barked at a concrete statue of a dog....

Mabel makes me laugh. She was smart enough to figure that the statue was of a dog. With today's modern art, sometimes I never figure out what the piece is supposed to be! Showed DH the picture and he got a chuckle out of it too. They are so beautiful. Of course, I have never seen an ugly dog. Their hearts are too pure to be ugly. Pam

Cute picture 113kevans. About four years ago, my DH and I were near a Husky dog statue when a family with two large black dogs came by and started to bark profusely at the dog statue, thinking it was a real dog. Gee! I'm surprised the real dogs thought the statue was a "real" dog.
