Floss
I just want to know how I can either find the conversion number chart from this pattern to DMC floss. I just stared this kit and I am missing 5 different colors. The numbers on the chart are great but I don't know what the conversion number is to use the DMC floss that I have.

Khristi, Jennifer, do you get any good reports on Dimensions kits. Seem to be nothing but problems on the Chit Chat. I seem to recall 1 or 2 stitchers replying they hadn't had problems. ??

Sandi, use all DMC or all kit floss for each color. They're each slightly different & don't mix. It's safest to use all DMC, but it's possible to use some DMC colors & some other colors in kit floss.

If you go to cyberstitchers.com you will find a conversion chart for the floss you are looking for. One of the reasons I don't use kits so that I don't worry that I will run out of floss. I only use DMC floss on my projects. The few times I have done a kit I guess I have been lucky because I have never run out of floss. Sometimes I have quite a bit left over even though I follow their instructions.

On cyberstitcher.com you can run off copies of charts for many different types of floss or floss from kits.
I have copies of these charts in a binder for me to use when I need them.

The Gold Collection is one of the best kits you can buy whereby the thread is beautiful.
The threads in cheaper kits have a tendency to run, be very careful! I would never mix my brands even though the colors might be the same....for your information.
