Hi Linda,
If you are speaking of the "giraffe pattern" to do in 14 count aida, then what MissCrossStitch stated is correct. You can use 14 count aida (your choice of color) instead of 28 count linen. With the 14-count aida fabric you would cross stitch over ONE square. The stitch count on 14 aida for this pattern is: 58 stitches WIDE x 75 stitches HIGH.
On 14-count aida (over one square) you are going to have a completed pattern that is 4 1/4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall. That is for the completed PICTURE!
For 14 count aida, adding 3 inches to EACH side of the aida fabric for matting and/or framing, you will need a piece of 14-count AIDA fabric 10 inches wide x 11 inches high.
Hope this helps!
