This looks like a beautiful project but I don't want to get frustrated by working on a piece that is too hard. I want to know if any fractional stiches are used. Is the chart easy to follow?

This pattern is not complicated to me. It is just take time. Enjoy.

This is a beautiful pattern. I can't find out if there are any fractional stitches in the pattern on any of the other sites I checked. I did find a description of Sandy Orton the designer and it said that she likes specialty stitches in her designs so perhaps there are some in this project. I would say that as long as you are an intermediate stitcher you could do this project. This is definitely not a project for a beginner.

Perhaps someone on this chat room has done this project and can be more specific on their answer. I saw all the different season projects she has designed and they are all beautiful. Good luck.

I agree with Syagel. Darling pattern. Doesn't look like a beginner project.

Thank you to all that replied. I think I'll sit on this awhile. I am a self-taught and don't really have anyone who can help me. Looking things up on the computer doesn't really work for me...I need to see things up close and personal and then go from there. I think I'll stick to something a little easier and hope I get enough experience to work on a piece like this.

That is a good plan. Start with something that is smallish -- less than 80 x 80 stitches Limit yourself to distinct colors -- red, blue and green or orange, purple and black, etch. You will be happier and ready to move on.

A Beautiful design but not a beginner's kit. The instructions are general but not specific for a beginner.
