Hello,

Yes, you can stitch the design on whatever fabric count or color you choose. The designer just suggests using 25ct. and stitching over 1 when using that. Thank you :)

Yes, and ECS carries it. It will be stronger than than linen for over 1 stitching, but remember very light tension,

When you use 28 count linen and stitch over 2 is the equal to the 14 count or smaller?

Stitching 28-count over 2 is the same as 14-count. The design will be larger, so remember to buy enough thread. Wow, that could get really large!! If you're brave, do it on 28-count over 1. You'd be surprised at the detail and beauty! Happy stitching!

I will try the 28 over one. I already have my round the neck magnifier. It will take some time. Thanks.

Hi, several of you are writing about 28 ct versus Aida. She' asking about swiyching linen to lugana, an evenweave. Both come in 25 ct, as recommended, or 28 ct to make it smaller. Stitch correctly over 1 on 28 ct, since it's hard to unstitch.

Boy, you've got that right! The cross stitches are small doing over one on 25 or 28 count.

mymichaud, don't stitch it at all. It is a seasonal piece and you can only display it one month or so out of the year. Not to mention 28 over 1, that is insane. 25 ct over 2 is just right, that is unless you are much younger than most of us here and have excellent eyesight. I stitch for fun, so it's usually 25 over 2. LOL

Texas Stitcher,
Well then, call the guys with the straight jackets and let them know Bermuda is working two HAED designs doing one over one. I won't mind as long as I can take my floss, the patterns and the two ongoing projects with me and let me out of the straight jacket to work on them.... it would be a bit difficult to stitch with my arms crossed in front of my chest and my hands resting on my shoulder blades...LOL!! :)
