Yes, this is counted cross stitch. Yes, you can stitch on 14 ct fabric. Finished size will remain the same. You need a piece that is 20 x 11 inches (includes room for finishing or framing). Not sure what the suggested color is but you can use any color you want.

I have this pattern in black and it should be done on any color of Aida cloth as well as floss. Have fun.

If I do this on 14 ct Aida, what will the finished project size be using inches measurement?

It states that it will be 14.1 x 5.1 inches. This is the size for 28ct. over 2 or 14 count Aida.

This would look beautiful on grey Aida with a dark red overdye floss. Note you need 13 yds, probably for 2 strand stitching.
