Details about this piece
I've only done basic counted cross stitch and looking at the supplies list, it appears to use some floss I'm not familiar with such as the braided floss. Is this something that is easy to learn to use? Are there detailed instructions? It's been a few years since I have stitched anything.

The #8 is an actual braid made by Kreinki with Mylar, etc. Shiny, somewhat thick for cross stitch. Use short strands & 24 or larger needle. Stitch like floss.
The other more expensive one is most likely a hand-dyed floss in a color the designer likes for this cheery pattern.

This design uses DMC Floss, Kreinik braid thread, Gentle Art Sampler Thread and Caron Waterlilies thread:) It also calls for a Debbie Mum Button by Mill Hill, #43005 Sunflower, which is in the supply list as well. Hope this helps. Thank you!
