Floss & Symbol Listing query
Hi,

The top of the Footprints Floss & Symbol listing shows the floss numbers, symbols and strand count (3 per cross-stitch, 1 per french knot/backstitch) for the first 23 colours on the list, which makes complete sense and follows the written instructions to the right of the table. However, at the bottom there are 6 rows showing 2 floss colours per row, one set of symbols, and two thread counts (1 and 2). Can I assume that this refers to 'blended' stitching (using 2 strands of the top colour and 1 strand of the bottom colour)?

Thanks for your help!

It sure sounds like blended thread, but I defer to either Kristi in Customer Service here at ECS, who will be back on Monday, or to someone in the chat group that actually can look at this pattern if they have it!

Since you already have the pattern, I would suggest contacting the designer. There is probably contact information on your pattern.

Hello Roselah,

You are absolutely correct!! Those last 6 listings are blended colors. Using 1 strand of the first color listed and 2 strands of the second color listed :) I can definitely be confusing but you were correct :)
