adri - the dog ate your pattern? Do you really expect us to believe that? Seriously, isn't it amazing the things that can happen that divert us from our favorite pastime? I bet the dog felt sorry, after you explained things to him...I wish I had a dog. I'd feed him all the patterns he could eat! What kind is he?

This is an unusual pattern for a nursery

Unfortunately you are dealing with a Dimensions kit. Members of this chat have posted a lot of complaints regarding their Customer Service. Doubt they will believe that your dog ate the pattern.

Such nice people. I am REALLY working on a project for a my best friend, and my BEAGLE ate the pattern....I found a small piece of the paper in the couch just now. I searched high and low and the rest of the pattern is no where to be found. I thought I would reach out to see if anyone had a suggestion before I order the entire kit again.

I was not intending to be rude. If I had the pattern I would have been happy to send it to you. I was not being judgmental but I honestly did think that you had posted the wrong picture. It is a beautiful piece.

I'm not saying this to be nasty, but, you've just learned a lesson the hard way.

I know it's too late now, but, you should always make extra copies of your pattern before stitching in case some unfortunate calamity such as yours happens. Keep the original pattern (up high) in a safe place from the dog.

Also, see Robin's recent chat about using scotch tape and Bermuda's reply using a highlighter to mark what you've already stitched.

These procedures have been mentioned on this website previously by different stitchers.

I guess you'll just have to order another e pattern in order to finish it.

If Dimensions still carries the kit, I'm certain they will send a replacement pattern. Just say you lost it. " The Dog Ate My Whatever" is just too old & funny a joke.

A cat ate my DH's sheet music once, but we didn't have to tell anyone.

It's out of stock at ECS....

You should contact Dimensions by phone...email seems to be largely ignored.

Sorry for any misunderstandings...your statement, like the age-old excuse, made me giggle, too! Not your predicament...just the way it was stated. :)
