It said next to it that it is a cross stitch pattern and it would be worked on 14 Aida cloth. Enjoy.

Miss Cross Stitch means that this is NOT stamped, but counted cross stitch. All the sramped designs can be found under "stamped projects" in the subject buff's at the left of every page. You can then know that anything else will be counted.

Su, did you comment on toenail fungus and jungle rot? Yeah, that was a terrible thing. I had a relative who served in the Pacific Theater during WWII and he had something on his hands. I believe it was a souvenir from Guam. During the cold MN winters it would bother him greatly. How did they contract it but never pass it on to their families, etc?

Bermuda, I only had to pay $550 because I paid for all three treatments up front but had to buy a blue light for my shoes. I had to blue light after each use. The treatment was spread out over three months, one each. Not too bad. It does get pretty warm though. One is encouraged to hold out as long as possible. I went to a physician. I know that salons offer the same treatment for a fraction but am not comfortable having medical procedures performed by non-medical personnel. Jublia is supposed to be a good product. It does not kill the fungus, it contains it. It takes 42 weeks!
I am done with nail salons. I saw two horrible situations on the news in the last couple of weeks not involving fungus. One man's feet were scalded. He ended up in the hospital for 8 days and 6 months of rehab. Interestingly enough the owner is out of the country and there is no email. I thought that Vietnam had email??? He was so afraid that he would lose both feet. He was still a young man. The other lady got an infected toenail they cut her. She was unable to walk and participate in the bridal party. Oh, the hot water heater was set for 140 degrees and that's what they stuck they man's feet into.

Tex! They got fungus that loved very warm wet environments, like tropical, but probably gave him problems in the cold Northern winters because it was trying to go deeper to survive below the colder skin surface. Thus, the fungus affects tiny nerves and drives folks nuts!

That makes sense but sounds so painful. I remember him sitting there and rubbing his hands. I hope that meds are available to get rid of this annoying, miserable condition. I have problems when I use certain dishwashing lquids, or when I peel certain vegetables. I get an outbreak on a finger or two. I have a cream for it but am not very consistent. There is so much to do before bedtime. Oral hygiene, meds, eye drops, shower, etc. Pretty soon I'll need a checklist. I hide all meds from Oli and when it's not on the nightstand......... In any case, my situation seems to be some allergic reaction and I can make it go away but these guy had to suffer all their lives.
