I had google the word apron for U and I had found several that U can make them yourself to sew and cross stitch it for him. If I was U I would Have made one for my Hubby by sewing it and add anything on Aida or use wet canvas to make him happy Use your imagination to add the words and designs that you like for him. Even his name or his initial. Have fun

I think Miss C meant waste canvas... There are great aprons out there ripe for the stitching, including in many catalogues. Find a design you think would fit the man and go for it. Yes... tacking on a piece of Aida or using waste canvas is a great idea... or sew one with the aida insert. I've seen patterned aprons with Aida inserts somewhere... used to have one, too. Try 123 Stitch, Herrschners... whoever! Look for stitchable items. Or try a cooking catalogue (beware, though... Chef's Catalog is going out of business!) Or buy the plain white aprons from a restaurant supply store! Happy stitching!
