Gotta brag
I rarely do this but I feel I need to show off my first finished piece. I started this in august and finished it up late December. I framed it and gave it to my choir director at church for Christmas. So excited it turned out so well!!

Beautiful! Love the colors! You have good reason to brag! What count and color fabric did you stitch it on and how long did it take you?

I believe its ivory 14ct aida if I'm not mistaken. I started in August but worked a little then quit... work a little then quit... it shouldn't have taken me that long. Its a pattern called Amereicana Alphabet from one of the magazines I have. It was perfect for the director because its religious and education based and she's a kindergarten teacher.

It was big enough I had to buy a 11x15 frame to fit it. Worth it though!

Wow! The teacher is going to absolutely love this! As for having to buy the larger frame, I'm a believer to do the correct job, you have to have the correct tools! I love the color of the aida. Goes really will with the other colors!

It looks great and looks like a fun project! Brag on yourself ANY TIME!

It called for pure white aida but I picked the ivory because I feel like it gives it a more homey, country look with the other richer colors.

I agree. Ivory does give it the "homey" look! Good idea changing the fabric out for this pattern!

Sometimes white glares and just isn't quite right...You did a beautiful job!
