Fabric size
Hi guys. I have a question on the fabric size on this one. The stitched size would be 28.6 x 21.4 on the 14 count aida. Can I just buy the 36 x 25 fabric? It will give me approximately 1.8 inches on each size width. Is that enough?

1.8" is quite scant for a seam allowance, especially for a big piece. However, you could sew another fabric, like cotton to the edge to give it more allowance for framing.

I agree with MissKitty, 1.8" is not very much. I would order a bigger piece of fabric that gives you at least 3 or 4 inches on each side, especially if you intend to frame it.

thank you for you help. :) I will just buy a bigger fabric size and put at least 3 inches in each side.

Oh wow! O_O Lookit all that purple! My daughter would have begged me to do that when she was little. She adored that color! (She also begged me to let her paint her room purple but we compromised. She got a nice lilac color after I told her strong colors on walls will make one weary of them very quickly!)

(And I counted 20 shades of what would be purple in various shades for that!)
