Hello,

This is a kit made by Riolis and unfortunately, we do not know what kind of stitches this chart includes. It comes to us by a distributor and we ship out to customers who order it, so we are unable to open the kit to see all of the details. The information about what the kit includes comes from our distributor and that's all the information we have. You could always contact the manufacturer, Riolis, to ask this question. Since they are the ones who created it, they will have access to the chart itself to tell you what all is on it. Here is the website for Riolis:

When I enlarged the picture it says it's a cross stitch pattern at the top. Hope this helps.

Description also says that the background is pre-printed. That sounds a little strange to me.

It's not usual but I have seen it before. Im not crazy about that effect as I think it detracts from the stitching but we all see things in different ways. The fact that there is Russian printing on the cover would suggest that it is designed to fit in to their culture.

Sounds like a combination of a dyed or painted background and the buildings are done in cross stitch. Riolis is if I remember a Russian product and is stitched with woolen thread. I am not a fan at all of stitching with wool. I also shy away from products made in countries where I am not certain what materials are used and what chemicals go into the product.
If you like stitching with wool then you might like to look at the Ehrman.com website. They have beautiful tapestry patterns. I saw their add again while looking through my Victoria magazine the other day. I am almost tempted to give tapestry a try. The first one, about 30 years ago, was disastrous. Maybe it is the reason that I hate stitching with wool.
