Not enough thread to finish the 1st page
I purchased this and I found that the tread number 169 I didn't have enough to do the first page. Wonder why you only suggested one skein? Or did I miss something.

Thanks

Usually the recommendations for thread are based on standard 14 ct (or whatever is recommended for fabric) using two strands of floss. Did you possibly use more floss? If not, the manufacturer may have miscalculated. I sincerely doubt ECS misposted it on purpose - heck the more you buy the better for them!

Actually, this was meant to be done on 18 count, as stated on the item page, so if you are doing this on 16 orb14 count, you will use a lot more floss and might even need 2-3 skeins of the most used color. I hope that customer sevice can help uou with this. Call them at 1-800-800-8517 during business hours, M-F, 8-5, Central Time. They are great!

I have finished nearly 1/3 of my Monet Waterliiies panel, and already know I will need more skeins of a number of colours. I think part of the problem is the large number or areas that only require 1 or 2 stitches of a certain colour, so a lot of thread is wasted on tails or carrying thread across. I can't see a way around this.

Hello,

Per the actual leaflet of this design made by Cody Country Cross Stitch, 1 skein of each floss is needed. I am not sure how they do their calculations for skeins for floss for their designs but what I have posted on the website matches what is on the color key for the pattern. I can definitely reach out to our contact at Cody Country Cross Stitch jus to clarify though. I will post back when I find out something :)
