I am over halfway through the 101 dalmatians sampler and while I am still enjoying stitching it doing 1/4 stitches on 18-count aida cloth is really doing my head in!!!! And before anyone asks yes I have tried leaving them out but it leaves a "hole" in the stitching and if they are in the middle of a row (which they often are) there is rarely any back stitch to cover the space so I am having to just take a deep breath and stitch them. There that has released some of the stress!!!

That is yet another reason why I dislike Aida so much. Use linen over two and you already have a hole waiting for the 1/4 stitches. I enjoy them because they add so much detail and definition. Try using a sharp needle but watch those fingers. When I use sharps for embroidery I usually wear at least 3 band aids at any given time. Hang in there once it's hanging on your wall all this will be forgotten! :)
