Proper size needles
What is the best size needle to use on 22-count Aida? A too-large needle seems to stretch the holes.

I would suggest you go to "Crossstitch.com" and tap on the "tools and Tips" heading. You will see two choices- tap on the "tutorial" and look for Choosing needles. That should help.
