baseball caps
I am looking for a blank mesh to cross stitch a design on a baseball cap. Do you know any company that sells them?

Hello,

Do you mean like Waste Canvas or perforated paper?! We have both of those on our website under the Fabric section.

If you are looking for a cap with mesh on the front, here's a few...looks like sportsman cap is the better search criteria, instead of baseball cap.

Hi Kristi,

I saw that but it's not what I want. What I need is the waste canvas to be on the front of the baseball cap so I can stitch a design on it. Many years I got it but I haven't done this project in years. I can by a blank baseball cap but I do not know how to make the waste canvas nice on the baseball cap.

tschuler7 - are you saying you need to know how to attach the waste canvas to the item you are stitching?

I've used waste canvas lots, and usually I baste it in place. You can do this on a machine, but that would be difficult on a baseball cap. I'd suggest using a hand needle and sewing thread to baste it on, leaving long lengths at each corner for pulling out. I only baste each side individually - NOT all the way around in one go as that makes it very hard to remove the basting later when you are ready to remove the canvas from under the stitching. You can also pin the waste canvas in place, which I have done for very small projects, but if you are prone to stabbing yourself with sewing pins while stitching it's not a good idea!
