What do you see?
Really like this pattern but I am confused with the picture vs the floss. It looks like there are more colors of floss than what is listed. How many shades do you see?

Edmar is a variegated Brazilian floss. So, likely the other colours are from the variegated floss, but the DMC thread is listed. If you search the web you can likely find the correct Edmar thread, but I don't believe they carry that brand at ECS.

Hello,

Yes, we do not carry that brand of floss that the model uses for the design. However, the leaflet gives both DMC and Edmar information for the design so it will all be listed on the chart itself :)

The beauty of these designs is in the shading changes due to the colours in the variegated thread.
You will get a very different look if you stitch it all in one colour like the DMC and the customer may be disappointed.

I would suggest Kristi, that you offer the Threadworx variegated thread (which you do carry) as a substitute. You do not need to suggest a conversion for the Edmar colour. Direct them to the Threadworx colour chart and let them choose their own colour.

Hello,

That's a great suggestion, MissKitty. I will have to discuss that with my supervisors. What you see on the website for the floss suggestions come directly from the leaflet for this design. We didn't do any conversion for it. The leaflet gives the Edmar floss information and it gives the DMC suggestion so we put the DMC color in our supply list since we have that floss available and since that is what the leaflet states to use in place of the Edmar floss.

I agree that a variagated floss would look better than a DMC Floss but I will have to check with the powers above me to see if they are fine with me straying away from what's on the leaflet. Thanks :)
