Need a pattern
I am looking for a way to turn a photo into a pattern for counted cross stitch (am looking to make into a kindle cover). I have an image that is perfect, but can't figure out how to get it into a pattern (with chart, and thread number etc) any help would be great.

I am pretty sure there are computer programs out there that can help with these and even companies that can do it for you. If you google using some keywords like the picture to cross stitch pattern or something like that. A bunch of hits should pop up and you can investigate from there. Most likely you will get more responses from people on this site who know a lot more than I do about this topic.

There are computer programs out there that let you create a pattern from a photo or image. The two I know are PCStitch and PatternMaker. Both have websites you can check out. I have also heard (or read) the ladies on this chat board mention using www.pic2pat. I haven't checked that out but I know it's mentioned for this type of request. Hope this helps :)
