Elegant Flourish Wedding Record Counted Cross Stitch Kit
Came across this beautiful counted cross stitch and would like to do it for my 25th wedding anniversary. I have never worked with a picture on the canvas. Has anyone done this piece? Also, I know it comes as a kit but being a 25th "Silver" wedding anniversary I might change up the colors a little. Although I do like the names done in the gray/silver threads. Anyway, if anyone has done this piece and knows how the picture gets added to the canvas, please advise me on this! I have been looking and looking for something to stitch for my 25th but couldn't find anything I liked and then presto I found it just like that! Can't wait to buy this and start it. My 25th wedding anniversary is in May of this year so I don't have much time but it doesn't matter if it gets done right on time! Jacquie

Just to let everyone know I actually went with a different 25th-anniversary pattern. I decided I wanted something that had the actual number of years on it and the original one I liked didn't and seemed more for newly married. Anyway, just ordered it. My anniversary is on May 9th and if I get it finished I will give it to my husband. If not, then I will show it to him whenever it gets done! lol. Either way, he will like it unless another 25 years go by, then I will have to change the number! lol Happy Stitching! Jacquie

I just finished - Anniversary Sampler by In a Gentle Fashion. Designer Linda Palmer. It is designed for 25th or 50th anniversary, but has all numbers to even do others. Don't mean to confuse ....I think it turned out very nice and a fairly quick stitch.
